addy at the time of harvesting has a very high Moisture content up to 18-20% & contains lot of Impurities such as Trash, Dust & Stones etc. For safe & healthy storage, the Paddy needs to be cleaned & its Moisture brought down to 12-13% which is ideal for milling & safe storage.
